Academic Process

We believe in equality of opportunity, children of all faiths are welcome providing they are able to take an unrestricted part in the life of the School. They are given increasing opportunities to exercise leadership and are encouraged to develop an attitude of service and a sense. While using the best of modern resources and equipments in the School, IPS considers education as integral formation of the human person for the fulfillment of his/her individual and social responsibilities. Our education endeavors aim at forming leaders who are intellectually competent, spiritually mature, morally upright, psychologically integrated, physically healthy and socially acceptable; who will champion the cause of justice, love, truth and peace and who are ever open to further growth.

Curriculum :

The School curriculum is based on the national pattern of education and designs as per the guidelines of Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and prepares the students for the "All India Secondary School Examination".

At Irving’s Park we have developed an approach to learning that maximizes each child’s development curve. No matter what your child’s learning style; whether it be kinesthetic, auditory, visual or rhythmic, our varied programs will meet their needs and keep their interest. Whether extroverted or introverted, independent or group oriented, we provide and appropriately nurturing and safe environment.

The classroom can be more than just books, desks, paper and pencil. We consider it a place of wonder. Through a variety of creative activities, teaching aids and models, audio visual aids , interactive smart boards – the imagination takes wings . Children’s capacity for asking questions seems never ending. We believe that curiosity is the window to knowledge and seek to answer every question creatively. We plan projects that will involve challenge and delight. Learning takes place not only by observing but by doing. We fan the fire of curiosity which will remain with them forever. Through our projects we teach children that the answers are within their reach and they are empowered.

In addition to the academic, aesthetic, physical, and social-emotional development of each child, we believe that spiritual and moral development are an integral part of our commitment to the education of the whole child. Hence we try to nurture and promote moral and ethical behavior. Irving’s Park provides a platform where your child can learn, play, pray, and laugh --a place where they can thrive!
